Spectrum Noir October Challenge

Hello Lovelies, I hope you are well ?
I wanted to share with you my DT card for the Spectrum Noir Challenge, the theme is Use your Embellishments.
I have used one of the beautiful stamps by Sheena which can be found here . I coloured it using my Spectrum Noir Pencils and then cut it out and mounted it onto some card using 3D glue, I then get out my Enamel dots, Sequins and gems and just started sticking. Once done i inked the edges using Worn Lipstick Distress ink and rounded the corners…really happy with how this turned out.
If you want to join in the challenge head on over to the Spectrum Noir Facebook Group and hit the October challenge tab.

I promise then when i get a spare 5 mins i will pop by and say hello.

Think Pink

Hello Lovelies, I hope you are all ok ?
Well October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I like many ladies have a family history on both sides of Breast Cancer so I always check..I hope you do to !
I have used an image by Saturated Canary specifically for Breast Cancer Awareness, What do you think….
I went for a fairly simple card. The sentiment is computer generated and i have just added some sequins and some ribbon, I have lightly dusted around the edge using some Distress Ink.
So ladies please remember that a 10 min self check could end up saving your life, if you do not know how to check ask your doctor to show you, or there is plenty of information online on how to check.

Here is a couple of my Design team samples for the shows.

I wanted to do something a little bit different so i decided to make a countdown board, I have printed paper from the CD ROM onto some Centura Pearl and then added a sheet of the Crafter’s Companion Black card onto the back for extra sturdiness.
The image is one of the Fabric Companions printed onto Neenah card. I have used the Verse writer on the CD ROM to create the numbers and the countdown verse.

This is another of the fab Frame Cards, I have printed this onto Neenah card and inked with distress ink, I used my Crop a dile to punch two holes in the top and threaded some ribbon through to create a hanger, i then just added some flowers, hatpins and berries.

This is definitely my favorite of all the stamps. I wanted to go for a non traditional colour scheme and have coloured it using my Spectrum Noirs- IG5,IG4,IG2,IG1,GB5,IB1,IB2,HB2,HB1,LV3 & Blender
Pencils- 78,80,82
The papers are from the CD ROM and i have added the flowers, a ribbon and a gem. I inked over the die using Distress Ink.

Make sure you keep checking back for some more of my samples, also check out the Crafter’s Companion Facebook Page for some beautiful samples from the rest of the Design team.
