A Blog Named Hero May Challenge – Watercolor

Hello lovelies, I hope you all had a nice weekend ?

It is new challenge time over at A Blog Named Hero and this month we are kindly being sponsored by Honey Bee Stamps for the theme Watercolor.

Now if you haven’t checked out Honey Bee Stamps make sure you do so because their stamps and dies are amazing, especially their sentiment building sets and they have been celebrating their 2nd birthday and have released some fantastic items so make sure you head on over (don’t blame me for all the money you end up spending)

I used the Curious Kitties set along with the Hooray Sentiment set for this card.

My cats love boxes and I thought this kitties face looked so happy so I teamed him up with the box from the set which I cut a slit into so I could slide the cat inside and added the You did it sentiment from the Hooray sentiment set. Whenever ever my cats manage to get into a box they always look so happy with themselves and that is where the idea of this card come from.

I used Mijello Mission Gold water colours for everything on this card. The box was several layers and I used some dry brushing to get the texture on the box.

The card is 4 bar size (4.7/8 x 3.1/2) and I have to say I really enjoy making cards this size, they are perfect for smaller images.

I also used the paw prints in the set along with the same cat stamp to create a matching envelope.

I finished the card off with some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Make sure you head on over to the challenge to check out some of my fab team mates cards and why not enter whilst you are there.

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day.

Happy Crafting
