Yep I’m still on christmas card making duty, I suddenly realised that I really don’t have enough to send !! I LOVE how these cards turned out but honestly they was a total nightmare to photograph, over 50 photos with different lighting etc and i am still not happy with how the pictures turned out, they really don’t do them justice and you can see the die cut sentiments ALOT better in RL.

Anyway enough complaining 🙂 I used Tim Holtz Stencil and Distress Oxide inks with these cards but did 3 slightly different things with the inks.

The first one I used the ink and stencil in the normal way and just pounced through the stencil and allowed to dry.

For the second one I did the same but as Oxides take a little while to dry I dug out a seriously old embossing powder I have which is clear with glitter, I poured that over and heat embossed it.

For the third and final card I took two colours and did some two tone blending.

Once they was all dry I die cut them using Simons Wonky Stitched rectangle die. I then took the Merry & Bright die from Honey Bee Stamps and die cut from some gold foil card and adhered them to the front of each piece using Ranger Multi Medium Matte.

For the bases I created some A2 top folding note cards from SSS card and adhered them all using foam tape. I did debate about adding some Nuvo Drops or Sequins but thought it would be too much.

So now it’s YOUR turn to get out your crafty supplies and join in!!
