Visible Image There is always hope and wings

Morning lovelies, I cannot believe it is Saturday again already !
I have been playing with the new fantasy stamps from Visible image this week and have made a little hanger
I created the background using my Dylusions and then using the wings from Fae hope set  i stamped onto acetate and coloured them using my Spectrum Noirs, i used the sentiment from the Fae hope set  and stamped that directly onto the hanger. I then gave some shape to the wings and stuck them down with some red liner tape.
I hope you like my little hanger, I always love how versatile Mark and Helen make their stamps, some of the team have created some AMAZING bits using the new release.
Don’t forget the current challenge is Anything Goes and you can win £20 to spend on these fab stamps.

Globecraft & Piccolo Heart stencil card.

Morning lovelies.
I have been using my stencil technique again…original post can be found here
This time i went for something slightly different and created a coloured base and then stuck the Filigree Heart Accents over the background and sprayed over the card using Black Dylusions and some mica spray.
I then used the Filigree hearts and arranged them on the card.
What do you think ?
This picture shows the sheen from the mica.

Once it was all dry i mounted it onto some black Core’dinations and then onto a card blank.
Happy crafting 🙂

Halcyon Day’s

Morning lovelies, I cannot beleive it is nearly the weekend already, the days are flying by….but this also means that tomorrow is launch time for the utterly beautiful range from Crafter’s Companion Halcyon days.
It is being shown as Create & Craft’s Weekender Special and the lovely Sara will be launching it at 9AM GMT tomorrow.
Here is a couple more of my design team samples i made for the shows
For this card I have used the beautiful Rose Vine embossing folder along with one of the papers from the Paper pad, the topper & Sentiment are from the CD rom….I love this image.
I have taken one of the shaped cards and created a hanger. I cut the huts out from another shaped card and mounted them using Collall 3D glue, on two of the huts I have cut around the doors and made it so they are open. The bunting & Sentiment are from the CD Rom. I have gone around all the edges with Distress ink.
Make sure you check out the shows over the weekend, the rest of the DT have created some stunning samples.
Show times are
Saturday with Sara-9am, 12pm & 6pm GMT

Halcyon Days

Afternoon my lovelies,
I hope you are all ok ? Been busy week here this week so i am sorry for my lack of visiting.
But it is nearly Saturday, which means it is nearly time for Halcyon Days weekender on Create & Craft !!
I wanted to share another sample I made for the launch.
I made a 7.5 x 7.5 card blank and then took one of the shaped cards and turned it into a topper, the picture topper is from the CD Rom and the backing papers are from the paper pad. I have also used my Die’sire corner die and Embossilious Knit one, Purl one 8×8 Embossing folder for the centre section.
This card shows that card blanks do not have to be used for just that purpose.
The range is being launched at 9am GMT on Saturday on Create and Craft and will then be on at 12pm GMT & 6pm GMT. Sunday’s show times are : 11am, 2pm & 7pm
The range includes :
Papercard kit
Shaped Card Kit
Paper Pad.
I will share some more sneeky peeks with you tomorrow 🙂

Key charms

Morning lovelies, Today i wanted to share a little charm with you that I made
I have used one of the Royal Key Charms and the two small keys that come with Key to my heart set and embossed them using Copper Kettle & Gilded Rose Gold, I only did a rough layer because i wanted a hammered/aged look to them. I have then used black jump rings to join them together using a 6mm jump ring at the top so it can be secured to whatever you would like to use it on 🙂
This is a simple, but fun project and something i will do more of.

Visible image Chandelier

Morning lovelies….no you haven’t slept until Saturday, the lovely Sue is moving house so I have swapped days with her 🙂
I have been playing with one of my favorite sets from Visible image, the beautiful Chandelier set I think this is such an elegant set.
Here is my card for this week…
I simply stamped and embossed the Chandelier onto a die cut circle , added a die cut border and a bow and pearl and i was done…this is what i love about this stamp, you don’t need to go all out with it to create a beautiful card.
Don’t forget the current challenge is Anything Goes and you can win £20 to spend on these fab stamps.
