Vellum Shaker Card | Honey Bee Stamps | Video

Hey lovelies, I hope you are having a great weekend 🙂

It’s Saturday which means Honey Bee Video day, and for this weeks video I wanted to share how i create Vellum Shaker cards. These are a great alternative to using acetate, especially when you want the sentiment to be the main focal point of the card.

I have to admit I love shaker cards but i struggle making them at times as I just don’t like working with acetate so these are great if you are like me, I also love the softness it creates.

Grab a cuppa and I hope you enjoy the video.

As you saw these aren’t hard to make and work well with any shape card….I have created vellum shaker tags in past and was really happy with them. I also like that it gives a kind of bokeh look to the sequins.

I hope I have inspired you to give vellum shakers a try, if you do please share with us 🙂

Have a great day and happy crafting

I’ve always meant to make a vellum shaker & you’ve inspired me to case this card, Tracy! I love making the sentiment the focus & this design is perfect for it, as you said! Gorgeous blue ombre!

Beautiful shaker card Tracy! Love the effect with the vellum, so soft and delicate. It complements your soft blending perfectly! I bought some of these brushes, but haven’t quite got the hang of them yet!!! Lol I will keep trying !! Great video Inky! Xx

Thanks so much lovely. The best bit of advice i can give is to brush the access off the brush and work side to side 🙂

Thanks os much my lovely friend, i cannot wait to see what your create x
