Vintage Christmas

Morning lovelies, phew it has been a busy week here !
As many of you know we live in an extremely old house, this house has had our blood sweat and tears poured into it but we have made the very hard decision to move, I have Fibromyalgia and arthritis along with other conditions and sadly my body cannot take living in a cold damp house with steep stairs anymore.
Fingers crossed we may have found the perfect house so we have begun the huge task of sorting out this house….for two people we have the amount of stuff a family of 5, and then we also have all the furbabies to move too….this is going to be a very stressful move ! So please bare with me 🙂
Anyway now onto my recent card…I am sure most of you have seen the fantastic Vintage Christmas Range from Crafter’s Companion…If not you NEED to check this range out, The CD ROM is amazing, not only does it have tons of gorgeous papers, embellishments, sentiments etc but also some lovely digi stamps and today’s card i have done a simple card using one of the papers and digi stamps from the CD ROM

Heartfelt Love

Afternoon lovelies, hope you are all ok and looking forward to the weekend 🙂
I wanted to share my latest card with you today. I have used Tiddly Inks Wryn – Heartfelt love and coloured her using just my Ice Grey Spectrum Noirs with a tiny bit of red.
What do you think…
I have had this idea for a while after looking through the Tutorial over on the Spectrum Noir blog and knew this would be the perfect image for it. I wanted to keep the rest of the card nice and simple because i think this image really doesn’t need much else with it, so all I have done is added some ribbon and wood hearts which I coloured using my Spectrum’s.
I hope you like it 🙂
Items used:
Spectrum Noirs-
Papers- My Minds Eye Rosy
Red is from Papermill Direct
Hearts are from Globecraft & Piccolo

Morning lovelies, I hope you are all ok ?
Next week the lovely Sara will be bringing you an AMAZING 4 day deal on Create and Craft…I can’t tell you too much but any Snowman, Snowdog & Father Christmas fans you NEED to watch.
Part of the deal is a fab CD Rom  & Stamps and today I wanted to share with you some of my design team samples I have made.
This card is done using Embossalicious Vintage Christmas collection 6×6 vintage decorations embossing folder, I have rubbed some gilding wax over the embossing to bring the embossed details out and then the Father Christmas’s are from Father Christmas Stamp Set and coloured with my Spectrum Noirs (colours below) I then just added some Twine and the sentiment is also from the same stamp set.
On the CD Rom is a section for decorations, and I thought this image screamed vintage so I printed it onto Kraft Card and then added some twine for hanging and some distress ink….it is such a beautiful image i didn’t think it needed much doing to it.

Also on the CD Rom is Christmas Wreaths….I am not the worlds greatest at cutting out, but have to say i really enjoyed doing this. I printed it all onto Kraft Card and then the berries i coloured with DR2 and DR3 Spectrum Noir Markers. I then added a Silk crush ribbon bow, a poinsettia flower and some heather.
