You’re a star !!!

Hello lovelies, Hope you are all well ?
Thank you for all the lovely comments on my last blog post, you guys are all fab !
Something slightly different today, I wanted to play around with a lovely stencil and some lazer cuts from That Craft Place. So I got my Gesso and Spectrum Noir AquaTints out…….
What do you think ? I used Crafter’s Companion Kraft Card as a base and then mixed my Aquatints from the Bright and Beautiful Set with Gesso and sponged through the stencil, I then took 3 of the Lazer cut stars and gave them two rough coats.
The sentiment is computer generated. Once everything was dried I glued it all in place using Collal 3D and Tacky Glue and it was done….really enjoyed making this one and love how colouring the Gesso came out !!
Make sure you check out That Craft Place, the lovely Lisa and Danny are always really helpful 🙂
Also i highly encourage anyone with the Aquatints to have a play around with them, your fingers by get inky but it will be fun 🙂
Happy Crafting

May the memories of today last a lifetime…

Hello lovelies, I hope you are all ok and having lots of crafting time 🙂
Thank you for all popping by and commenting on my last few posts, it always makes me smile.
I wanted to share my lastest card for Crafter’s Companion International Inspiration DT.
Crafter’s Companion offer a free download every month in their Inspire Club area (totally free to join) and they are always such lovely papers and embellishments.
The April one is utterly gorgeous and I had to use it as soon as I saw it.
What do you think ? The papers are beautiful aren’t they.
I have used some of my Die’sire dies (list and links below) and the Sentiment is from the Crafter’s Companion Sentimental Range.
I have added some Distress Ink around all the edges and some Cheesecloth and Seam Binding to finish.
Make sure you head on over to the Crafter’s Companion website to grab your download, and make sure you share your makes with us on the Crafter’s Companion Facebook Page.

Clearly Besotted

Morning lovelies, I hope you all had a lovely weekend 🙂
Thank you for all stopping by and leaving such lovely comments on my last few blog posts.
I seem to be a on CAS thing at the moment, so many fantastic stamps out that just lend their way to CAS, and I am besotted with Clearly Besotted stamps (see what I did there ) for CAS.
A friend of mine knows how much I love Clearly Besotted and recently sent me this stamp set 🙂 and I decided to use a fab tutorial on the Spectrum Noir blog about Stamping with your Spectrum Aqua’s which can be found here. I stamped the jar and then masked the sweets off as I stamped them.
The embossed panel is some Core’dinations cardstock embossed using the free embossing folder that you get with the latest Crafter’s Companion Inspiration Magazine   I added some twine around the Jar and used my Spectrum Noir Markers to colour the base and lid, I then 3D Mounted it and added the sequins and stamped the sentiment (which is also from the same set)
Make sure you check out the tutorial, it is a really great one, and gives you something else to try your Aqua markers with 🙂
Have a lovely day and Happy Crafting

You have the Potential to make beautiful things…

Morning lovelies, Hope you are all having a nice weekend ? It seems that I haven’t stopped all weekend and yet have got very little done…do you ever get days like that ?
A huge thank you for all your recent lovely comments, they really do mean a lot and always make me smile 🙂
A little bit of news…I was asked a little while ago if I would like to join the Crafter’s Companion International Inspiration Team, this is a HUGE honor and it an amazingly talented team and i was very shocked to be asked, at the time I had some stuff going on and asked if I could join in April, very luckily they said that was fine and today is my first official blog post for them.
I have used my Spectrum Noir Aquatints in Perfectly Primary on Crafter’s Companion Watercolour Card to create the background. I then used Die’sire Sentimentals Wildflower stamp set , I used the main stamp along the bottom but wanted a kinda distressed look to it so I inked it up and then stamped the excess off onto some scrap card and then stamped onto the card, I then stamped the sentiment which is from the same set.
The little dandelion seeds are part of the large stamp, I inked them up and tried to create the swirl of them blowing around…hope that worked ?!
I then added some Stampendous Fran-tage in Shabby White and heat set and around the edge I used some Pebeo Gilding wax
I then mounted it only some Crafter’s Companion Matt Black card and created a card blank using Centura Pearl Hint Of Gold and it was done.
I hope you like it, It was a nice relaxing card to do.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and commented on my last post 🙂
It is a new month which means new challenge time at Spectrum Noir and this months challenge theme is super easy…Use a Die…how easy is that !! Just remember that you have to also use a Spectrum Noir medium also.

Here is my DT card for the challenge…
I have been dying to colour this image up for ages now, it is by C.C Designs and is just too cute !!
I have used my Spectrum Noir Pens and Pencils (list below). I created the sentiment on computer and then cie cut it out and added some faux stitching. I then took some Core’dinations and die cut a circle and 3D mounted it over some paper.
Nice and simple, but then i think this image needs to be the main focal point 🙂
