The theme for the challenge is Stamp it ! (use a stamp) And for those who don’t know (where have you been hiding !!) It is STAMPtember this month with Simon Says Stamp, so a brilliant theme to start the month.
The winner of the challenge will win a $50 voucher to spend at the store !

I created two cards for this challenge.
The first one I created using just the leaves from the beautiful Hydrangea Blooms Stamp set (all supplies are listed and linked below) and the sentiment is from the Autumn Greetings set.

I used a fun technique with ink pads for this card.Check out the video below where I show you both sets, and also how I created the card.

For the second card I used the Hydrangea Blooms set but this time I have used the main flower. In this set they have included the flowers open, like I have used below so you can colour them, or they have also included them solid so you can ink them up.

I have heat embossed the flowers and then water coloured the whole piece using my Mission Gold water colours. I then heat embossed one of the sentiments from the set and die cut the piece out using a Stitched rectangle die. I then adhered it too a matching card base and added some sequins.

Both of the stamp sets I have used are part of the big release for STAMPtember.

  4. Just gorgeous work huni!! I am so proud of you – doing a wiggle right now as my feet aren't up to the jigging! Having said that I'm not surprised they asked you because you have a lot of talent in those fingers sweet lady. Still a bit under par than usual but hoping those Vitamin D infusions will help soon as so much of my worsening is or could be, we really hope, linked to that. As I said to my brother it's like having fibro plus shingles or pneumonia both of which I've had and both of which totally floored me. Onwards and upwards one challenge a day, more likely two a week in my case lol! Karen xx

  5. I was wondering how you got the variegation on the leaves so stayed and watched your video. I have tried doing this with inks before but they react with the second ink so it didn't look good – awesome idea thank you sweetie! xx
