Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge #412 A Bit ‘O Green

Hiya lovelies, I do hope you are all having an amazing week. It is Wednesday which means new Challenge time over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

This week our challenge theme is

A Bit O’ Green

This week we are showcasing Taylored Expressions You don’t have to use them to join in, but we would love to see what you create with them.

As always when you enter the challenge you have a chance to win $50 to spend on the Simon Says Stamp Store.

I love llamas and used to actually have two so when I saw this set I just knew I had to use it for this challenge.

I used my Spectrum Noir markers to colour this, the cute thing about this set is you stamp the face separately and there is several different faces you can use.

For the background I used Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron & Salty Ocean  Distress inks with an ink blending tool on Bristol Smooth card stock.

I then added some water droplets and used a paper towel to blot it after 30 seconds.

The paper is also from Taylored Expressions and I thought it worked great for the Challenge theme.

I heat embossed the sentiment using Simons Detail embossing powder and added the die cut frame to bring it all together.

The set also comes with co-ordinating dies so that meant no fussy cutting (I am AWFUL at fussy cutting). I used my white gel pen to add some detailing to the gifts and then adhered that and the llama to the card with some foam tape.

And did you notice…no sequins or enamel dots !! I know thats rare for me.

And now it is YOUR turn.

Don’t forget if you share your projects on Social Media to use #ssswchallenge so we can find your work.

I cannot wait to see what you create.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have an amazing day.
Happy Crafting

  1. Love the background coloring on this card and your alpaca. We have always wanted to own an alpaca but we live on a little piece of land in a town just outside Austin, Texas and have no place for one and the city would get mad at us. Oh well, I an enjoy your adorable alpaca card instead. πŸ™‚
