Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge #414 Anything Goes

Hiya lovelies, I do hope you are all having an amazing week. It is Wednesday which means new Challenge time over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog

This week our theme is-

Anything Goes

We are showcasing Stampendous products this week, You don’t have to use them to join in, but we would love to see what you create with them.

As always when you enter the challenge you have a chance to win $50 to spend on the Simon Says Stamp Store.

I have had this stamp set for a little while and it is so pretty, so pretty in fact it had become one of those “I don’t ever want to ink it and just stroke it” sets.

But I made myself ink it and I am so glad I did because it was lovely to stamp.

I didn’t want a black outline on this card and wanted to keep it as soft as possible so I stamped all the elements using Simon’s Cobblestone ink pad.

The flowers and leafs I stamped onto some Strathmore watercolour card separately so I could fussy cut them out and adhere using foam for dimension.

I used my Mission Gold watercolours for this, I always forget just how amazing they are to use.

The background I added a pale wash using various blues, pinks and purples. Once dry I stamped the mason jar and steams and painted them and left the piece to dry.

I used a few different shades on both the flowers, I wanted one to be slightly bolder and have more purple type tones to it and really pleased with how they turned out.

Once everything was dry I fussy cut everything out that needed it and die cut Simon’s Kindness die out of Fog card stock (become addicted to this card !)

I added one of the Lawn Fawn trimmings die to the edges of the piece just to give it something extra.

I then created an A2 top folding notecard and adhered it all together. I was going to leave it along but decided to add some of the fab Studio Katia Dew drops and add some Spectrum Noir Sparkle to the Kindness word.

And now it is YOUR turn.

Don’t forget if you share your projects on Social Media to use #ssswchallenge so we can find your work.

I cannot wait to see what you create.

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have an amazing day.

Happy Crafting
