It is new release time from Simon Says Stamp and they have done it again and have another fantastic release.
I am very lucky and got some gorgeous items from the release to play with and I will be sharing a couple of cards I made today, the rest and a review will be part of this weeks Simon Saturday along with a giveaway !
This is another great mixed release with something for everyone. There is a general summer theme but also lots of all year round products and some really fun dies too.
What I think will be one of the most popular items is the beautiful Heart Sprinkle Trail die
This is such a pretty die with SO many different uses.
I used it with some of Simon’s Sweet Treat’s Card and die cut it several times so that it went full across the A2 Panel.
I adhered the die cut panel to an A2 Card that I created using Simon’s Cotton Candy Cardstock.
I was going to leave it there but decided to add a little bit of sparkle and using the die again I die cut some glitter card that I had in my stash and randomly adhered some of the hearts and dots into the spaces to form an inlaid effect. I was so happy with how this turned out and love this die.
I love fruit and there is definitely a lack of good fruit stamps out there so when I saw Simon had released not one, but two awesome fruit stamp sets I was a happy camper, especially when I was sent the Artsy Fruits set. I LOVE Simon’s Artsy Flower parts set and had so much fun creating this card.
This was a total non planned card where I just sat down and started stamping. One of the things I love about this set (and the flowers set) is that you don’t have to be spot on with your stamping, and you can get stamp the outline and colour the fruit yourself, you can also just stamp minus the outlines. And you can be so creative with these sets…even hubby likes this set.
The sentiment is from an old Simon Set called Pool Play and thought it went well with the summer fruits which I randomly stamped across the bottom of this die cut panel of Neenah.
I did mess up the watermelon and really should have stamped the outline in green…but you know what I kinda like it and the fun with this set is it allows you to make mistakes like this.
I have to say I was also super impressed with the detailing on these stamps.
Make sure you check out all the release products here.

Thank you so much for stopping by and don’t forget to check back for Simon Saturday.
