Anything Goes

This week we are showcasing Hero Arts Products. You don’t have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

For my card this week I have used the beautiful A Bit Of Kindness Die by Hero Arts, this is such a fab die and I nabbed it as soon as it was released.

I created this card for a friend and wanted it to be quite bright and cheery and decided to create an Oxide Ink background.

I have to confess when I first saw the Oxide Inks I was SO excited but my first time using them they just didn’t grab me like when first used the original Distress Inks and I felt a bit deflated with them, this time rather than ink blending I decided to do some ink smooshing and i LOVE them, for me they really lend themselves perfectly to this as they layer so much better than Distress inks and I think this is mainly how I will use them.

Anyway the card ! (I started typing away and forgot to add any pictures !)

I used Simon’s Wonky Rectangle dies (the largest one) to die cut the piece out once it was fully dry.

I used some plaid paper and adhered that to an A2 top folding notecard. I was going to pop the panel up with some foam tape but decided not to.

The sentiment I cut from some of Simon’s fog Grey card stock as white just seemed to get a little bit lost.

Once I adhered this to the piece I took my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle pen to add some shimmer to the sentiment.

I then finished the whole card off with some of Studio Katia’s Clear Drops.

 So now it’s YOUR turn!
