Studio Katia Thank you | Stretching stamp sets

I hope you are all having a great week. Before I get into today’s post I wanted to say my heart goes out to anyone effected by the latest tragedy in Las Vegas, I know a few of my readers are from Vegas and I cannot imagine how awful it must be for you, but know we are all thinking of you.

Studio Katia has a theme week this week for the design team to create Fall/Thank you cards and I wanted to go for something slightly different, plus show that you can stretch your stamp sets by using holiday stamps for non holiday cards.

If you want a how I created this card then check out my post on the Studio Katia Blog which can be found here or by clicking the banner above.

I fell in love with the last release from Studio Katia, Especially the Sweet Holiday stamp set (all supplies are listed below) Those little cute gingerbread people are just too adorable, but they don’t have to be used just for holiday cards.

I have been playing with my Oxides again…have to admit I really do love them now, they make the most fab backgrounds and layer perfectly.

I coloured this little cutie up using Prismacolour pencils. This card would be perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth as a thank you card which is what i was aiming for when I created it.

I highly encourage you to check through all your stamps and see what ones can be used for different cards etc, I find it really gets my crafty mojo going plus gets you more use out of those stamps we all like to buy.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you all have a great day.
