World Cardmaking Day Honeybee Stamps and Chibitronics

Happy World Cardmaking day !!!!

A huge hello and I hope you are all enjoying World Cardmaking day.

To celebrate Honey Bee Stamps And Chibitronics are doing a blog hop.

If you are hopping you should have arrived here from Tiffany’s Blog

For my card from the hop I decided to go for no colouring and using one of the newer Honey Bee Stamp sets and Honey Cut dies (all supplies are linked below)

I used Wild Honey Distress ink to create the “rays” and inked one heavier than the others to match the sentiment…looking back I wish I had done one a different colour.

I added some water droplets and whilst it was drying I die cut the top panel and stamped the sentiment.

I created  the circuit piece so it would fit under the panel, the idea I had was that the light would shine out from under the card, it did end up shining through the card which I didn’t mind but I know for next time to double, or maybe triple up the card.

Please excuse the blur, I took this photo at least 5 times and could not get one without it blurring so I’m calling it an action shot 🙂

To finish the card off I added some Honey Bee Sequins.

Now onto the hop details.

Honey Bee Will be giving away a $25 Gift Certificate to some lucky winners who comment.

Chibitronics will be giving away a starter kit to a lucky hopper.

The next person on the hop is the lovely Vanessa

Lovely Melissa is also offering a coupon code for you to use to celebrate World Cardmaking Day so happy shopping !

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a great World Cardmaking day and happy hopping.

  1. this looks great….and even better with the light!. I love how chibitronics gives all of these Hop examples a little extra something that makes them fabulous 💖! Thank You!

  2. I find it heartwarming to know that designers have some regrets on a card like I do. I like the color blending on the rays.

    1. Marsha I have lots of regrets on cards and also tend to make lots of mistakes (you should see how many times things go in the bin) thank you for your lovely comment
