Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Snowman Christmas Decoration

I hope you are all having a great week 🙂

Simon Says Stamp latest release Making Spirits Bright is now live just click the banner below to see the whole release.

This release is a nice mix of Halloween & Christmas with some great fun products, especially dies.

Simon’s Picture Book Dies seem to be so popular and have so many uses. I got a few from the release but today will be sharing with you a fun project that I used the Snowman Picture Book Die for.

I used felt to create some Christmas Tree decorations. These were lots of fun to make and would be a great project for children.

I die cut all the pieces from felt and then applied suitable adhesive to some thick card and adhered the felt pieces to that on both sides.

Once I was happy I trimmed the excess card and used a crop a dil to punch a hole for the string to hang.

I used natural twine to hang but you could use ribbon or twine to match the colours.

I really did enjoy making these and will make a couple more for the tree 🙂

Of course with these dies you can use them on cards also, I just wanted to show an alternative way to use them.

Make sure you check back on Saturday where I will be sharing some other projects using items from the new release and announcing the winners of the STAMPtember giveaway.

Have a great day and happy crafting

  1. I’ve just been thinking I need to use my felt & now I see your snowmen! These are absolutely darling, Tracy! Boy do I love this release–glad I haven’t already spent my gc, although now I’m even more torn about what to get–haha! Sending hugs, Greta

    1. Thank you so much Greta. I had so much fun making them, it made a nice change.
It’s a fab release isn’t it, I have to admit I order a couple of dies but now wish so much I’d ordered the gift tag stamp set it’s adorable.
I can’t wait to see what you get x
