Using paper scraps | Video

Hey lovelies, it is Saturday which means Honey Bee Stamps Day.

For todays video I wanted to show how you can use paper scraps to create a fun holiday card. If you are like me you probably have tons of scraps this is a good way to use all those little bits.

The fun thing about this is you can play around and it doesn’t have to be for Christmas. I think the Honey Bee Stamps Hill Border dies are PERFECT for this kind of card so I just had to use them.

Grab a cuppa and I hope you enjoy the video.

As you can see it is easy to create. I struggled to show on camera the embossing powder, you can also use embossing paste for more texture.

The paper scraps I used were from Doodlebug designs (linked below) but any would work and they even have to be christmas papers….this would also work well with Washi tape.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I do hope you enjoyed the video.

Happy Crafting

  1. What a cute idea to emboss the tops of the pieces to look like snow! Darling use of scraps, Tracy! Now if I’d just use my printed papers I’d have scraps to use–haha! PS–You should do what you feel is right as far as cards go. My brother & sister-in-law have done a charity donation instead of gifts for many years. I was surprised the first year, but was proud of them for trying to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. If people get hurt feelings that’s their problem. Sending hugs, Greta
