For my card today I am sharing a card created using one of my favourite stamp sets from Studio Katia, along with one of my favourite word dies from Simon Says Stamp (all products are listed and linked below)
I wanted to keep the card quite clean and simple as this is such a large stamp. I coloured the image using Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers and then added the word die and sentiment along the bottom of the card.
I love that Ruby is doing this hop and cannot believe she has only been crafting for 4 years !
I am a bit of a dinosaur and started crafting over 18 years ago now…clear stamps wasn’t even around when I started. But I have loved watching this industry grow and have made some lovely crafty friends over the years.
I love to create and have always been amazed that what starts as a piece of card ends up becoming something that can brighten someones day.
For me crafting is sometimes an escape, I have a lot of health issues and when I pick up that piece of card I can forget about them whilst I create.
I am very blessed that I have a very understand husband who encourages my crafting. I am also extremely lucky to have worked with some amazing companies over the years, as well as some fantastic crafters.
I’d love to know why you all create ?
The next person on the hop list is there lovely Dana Joy
Make sure you leave all the designers lots of love and a huge thank you to Ruby for putting this hop together.
Happy Anniversary Ruby and I hope to see you continuing to create for many more years.
Happy Hopping & Crafting.

  1. I’m so sorry to be late getting here, Tracy. Can’t seem to keep up & I’m retired, so that’s crazy! Anyway, this card is a stunner–gorgeous coloring & design! I’m a dinosauer, too–stamping for over 20 years. I remember saying I wasn’t interested in clear stamps when the first ones came out–haha! Having totally no artistic talent, stamping lets me be artistic & I love using that side of my brain. I don’t have to draw or even color–just use stamps & inks–& now, of course, dies!

  2. Your coloring on this flower/leaves is absolutely stunning, it almost looks like velvet in the picture. Just beautiful, I love it,. Thanks for sharing in Rubenna’s celebration and for the inspiration to keep practicing my coloring.

Crafting is my escape from my health issues too. Therapy too in so many ways. I love this beautiful card and the bright red color in your flower. Thank you for sharing.
