Hey lovelies, I hope you are having a great week ? Simon Says Stamp had a brand new release launching today called Fresh Bloom and its a beauty.

I was lucky enough to be sent some products from this release which I have been creating with and want to share two of the cards I created with you today. Now as always SSS new releases always sell fast, so much sure you get in there quickly. The new release can be found here.

The first card I am sharing today was something a little bit different for me, but I love creating it so might create more like this. I have used the Triangle Element die set which is fun and different.

I started off creating the background with Alcohol inks onto Yupo Paper and whilst it was still tacky I added some gilding flakes to it and then left it to totally dry.

The die itself I cut twice out of Neenah card and then twice our of Mirror gold card. I used Studio Katia Glue to adhere the gold to the neenah for some dimension.

I was going to leave this card without a sentiment but instead I used the Hello Script die from SSS.

For my second card I used the new CZ Design set called Buttercup, this is a fun set with great sentiments and images. I also used the new Geometric builder stamp set to create the background.

I did some stamping and masking onto some Neenah card stock using all 3 of the buttercup images and 2 of the leaf stamps. I used Spectrum Noir Markers to color them in and then used SSS Wavy Scallop Border die to add detailing along the edge.

For the background I used the new Geometric builder stamp set and stamped directly onto the A2 Top Folding notecard with SSS Lemon Zest dye ink, this stamp was very easy to line up and is a great way to add some detailing to your cards. For added interest I used my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen and added a dot to the centre of each piece.

I can see both these stamp sets being really popular as they are both very versatile.

Thank you so much for stopping by today I hope you like the cards and the new release. Happy Shopping.

    1. Hi KarenAnn, it’s not a typo the what up buttercup is a slang way of saying what’s up buttercup, it’s a tongue in cheek way of saying it that’s quite popular, especially in certain places.
