Love and be loved

Morning lovelies, I hope you all had a nice weekend ??
Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and visit my blog over the weekend, it is always lovely reading all your comments x
I wanted to share my latest Visible Image make with you today. I have used some of the stamps from the new release celebrating 75 years of The Wizard Of Oz.
The Stamps I have used are from The Tin Man set
I decided to make a tag…well you know me, any excuse to get inky !!
I used Crafter’s Companion Watercolour card for this….it works brilliantly with any inks.
I have used my Dylusions and then stamped the heart and picked some sections out using white paint. I then sprayed a strip of card using Cherry Pie Dylusion and stamped the sentiment and heart and then ripped along the edges and glued onto the tag.
This was a total non planned just go with the flow thing.

Visible Image ATC’s

Morning Lovelies,
I am a bit late with my post this morning, the weekends weather has been causing lots of problems with internet here. I do hope you are all safe.
Anyway on to my post for Visible Image.
This week i decided to make some ATC’s
I have used the flowers from the following More Than Words sets-
The background i have used Bronte Script and stamped without a stamping block to give a different effect. I have then used  chalkboard paint and Dylusions. The edges were done using Grunge Florish stamp
I really enjoyed doing this and it was so fun to do something different.

Visible Image Monday

Morning lovelies, Phew it is still a hot one !
I hope you all had a nice weekend ?
Being Monday means Visible Image day for me, I am loving doing more Clean and Simple Style cards using Visible Image stamps at the moment and this week is no different.
I have used Create With Your Soul Stamp, this is probably my most favorite Visible Image Sentiment stamp. I have used watercolour card for this and used Dylusions watered the effect this gives, i did some light flicks with the brush and then when it was dry i stamped using Stazon Ink.
I hope you like it 🙂

Visible Image Molly Tag

Morning me lovelies, it is Monday which means Visible Image day from me.
Today I have created a tag using Molly Rules Stamp Set
I have coloured Molly using my Spectrum Noirs (list below)
The background i created using my Dylusions Ink Sprays and some water and then using the stamps from the Molly set I stamped in different colour distress inks, After i stuck Molly down I went around her with black Spectrum Noir to add a border. This was one of those fun getting inking makes…i had actually planned something totally different, but i like the turn this took 🙂
Pssssttt I hear some new stamps are coming and they are fantastic !!! I know my mixed media and journalling followers will LOVE them, head on over to Facebook Group  for more info.

Visible Image Time Flies

Morning lovelies, Saturday means Visible Image day for me.
This week I decided to do something other than a card and have done 2 mini canvases.
The canvases have severel different layers of Distress inks, Dylusions and Paint, i then stamped the wings & words…which are all from the brilliant Time after Time stamp set. The wings i coloured using adirondack ink pads and then highlighted some areas using Zig white pen.
Really happy with how these turned out 🙂

Globecraft & Piccolo Heart stencil card.

Morning lovelies.
I have been using my stencil technique again…original post can be found here
This time i went for something slightly different and created a coloured base and then stuck the Filigree Heart Accents over the background and sprayed over the card using Black Dylusions and some mica spray.
I then used the Filigree hearts and arranged them on the card.
What do you think ?
This picture shows the sheen from the mica.

Once it was all dry i mounted it onto some black Core’dinations and then onto a card blank.
Happy crafting 🙂

Globecraft & Piccolo Stencil card

Morning Lovelies, today is Globecraft & Piccolo day.
I wanted to show you an that Piccolos have lots of uses, and one of the ones i love is that you can use them as a stencil.
I have used ATC Bubble Background which i have to confess is my favorite Piccolo at the moment.
I then took a 4.5 x 5 card blank , a black strip of card cut to 2 x 5 and a strip of watercolour card cut to 1.9 x 5

For the next step you need a temporary adhesive to hold your “stencil” in place, I always use Crafter’s Companion Stick and Spray.
Spray one side of your Piccolo “stencil” and position on the watercolour card.
Pick your medium you wish to use to add colour, I swear by Dylusions, but it is totally up to you.

Be as creative as you wish and apply your colour, I run a heat tool over the area before i remove the Piccolo, and then VERY carefully remove the Piccolo, I have found removing the paper from the Piccolo is the best way.
And of course you now have a pretty coloured Piccolo 🙂
Once fully dry rub away any excess adhesive and glue to your black strip and then adhere this to your card blank. I then rounded off the bottom two corners and added a simple sentiment.
And here is the finished card, you could be so creative with this method.

Visible Image April Challenge…Tags :)

Morning Lovelies…I hope you are all well ??
Well it is new challenge time already (where did March go !!!) at Visible Image  and the theme is Tags…I love this theme because you can be very creative with Tags i think. One lucky person will receive £20 to spend on Visible image stamps !
Here is my Design team tag….

I got so inky making this and LOVED it !
I have used the super fab Time after Time Stamp Set & the very beautiful Dragonfly Stamp
There was no real method to this, i will be honest I coloured the tag using my Dylusions and then coloured some sheets of pretty paper in the same way. I then randomally stamped using different stamps from the Time after Time Stamp Set (you get soooo many different stamps in this set) and ripped them up and stuck them down using Collall Tacky Glue.
I then stamped the Dragonfly & One of the clocks over the top and Embossed using G&P Copper Kettle Embossing Powder, I also sprinkled some  Starry Sky embossing powder  randomally over the top. I then  added the sentiment with the brads and used Vintage Photo Distress ink and went around the edges to grunge it all up a bit.
I hope you like the tag…Anyone who has not played around tags I highly encourage you too, they don’t have to be grungey, check out the rest of the design team samples on the Visible Image blog
Don’t forget to also check out Facebook Group to see all the latest Visible image news, chat to fellow crafters and also see others crafters fantastic makes.
I hope too see your entries in the challenge
