Morning lovelies, Saturday means Visible Image day for me.
This week I decided to do something other than a card and have done 2 mini canvases.
The canvases have severel different layers of Distress inks, Dylusions and Paint, i then stamped the wings & words…which are all from the brilliant Time after Time stamp set
. The wings i coloured using adirondack ink pads and then highlighted some areas using Zig white pen.
Really happy with how these turned out 🙂
I have been using my stencil technique again…original post can be found here
This time i went for something slightly different and created a coloured base and then stuck the Filigree Heart Accents
over the background and sprayed over the card using Black Dylusions and some mica spray.
I then used the Filigree hearts and arranged them on the card.
What do you think ?
This picture shows the sheen from the mica.
Once it was all dry i mounted it onto some black Core’dinations and then onto a card blank.
Happy crafting 🙂
Morning Lovelies, today is Globecraft & Piccolo day.
I wanted to show you an that Piccolos have lots of uses, and one of the ones i love is that you can use them as a stencil.
I then took a 4.5 x 5 card blank , a black strip of card cut to 2 x 5 and a strip of watercolour card cut to 1.9 x 5
For the next step you need a temporary adhesive to hold your “stencil” in place, I always use Crafter’s Companion Stick and Spray.
Spray one side of your Piccolo “stencil” and position on the watercolour card.
Pick your medium you wish to use to add colour, I swear by Dylusions, but it is totally up to you.
Be as creative as you wish and apply your colour, I run a heat tool over the area before i remove the Piccolo, and then VERY carefully remove the Piccolo, I have found removing the paper from the Piccolo is the best way.
And of course you now have a pretty coloured Piccolo 🙂
Once fully dry rub away any excess adhesive and glue to your black strip and then adhere this to your card blank. I then rounded off the bottom two corners and added a simple sentiment.
And here is the finished card, you could be so creative with this method.

Morning Lovelies…I hope you are all well ??
Well it is new challenge time already (where did March go !!!) at Visible Image
and the theme is Tags…I love this theme because you can be very creative with Tags i think. One lucky person will receive £20 to spend on Visible image stamps !
Here is my Design team tag….
I got so inky making this and LOVED it !
There was no real method to this, i will be honest I coloured the tag using my Dylusions and then coloured some sheets of pretty paper in the same way. I then randomally stamped using different stamps from the Time after Time Stamp Set
(you get soooo many different stamps in this set) and ripped them up and stuck them down using Collall Tacky Glue.
I then stamped the Dragonfly & One of the clocks over the top and Embossed using G&P Copper Kettle Embossing Powder
, I also sprinkled some Starry Sky embossing powder
randomally over the top. I then added the sentiment with the brads and used Vintage Photo Distress ink and went around the edges to grunge it all up a bit.
I hope you like the tag…Anyone who has not played around tags I highly encourage you too, they don’t have to be grungey, check out the rest of the design team samples on the Visible Image blog
Don’t forget to also check out Facebook Group
