I hope you are all having a great day ?
I don’t know about you but I love all things ombre, especially in card making and i feel its often overlooked as a fun and easy way to create a clean and simple card.
As soon as I saw one of the stamps from the latest Honey Bee Stamps release Ombre instantly popped into my mind, and I wanted to go with slightly non traditional Christmas colours.

Hey lovelies, I hope you are well ? I am sorry for being AWOL, I have been recovering from my surgery still, but the good news is I got thumbs up from the hospital last week to start slowly easing myself back into crafting over the next few weeks YAY !! In the mean time I have been cleaning my craft room and found a pile of cards I made before, and during Christmas which I will blog over the next week 🙂
It is Wednesday which means it is time for a new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
It is time for a new challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
This week the challenge is
This week we are showcasing Carabelle Studio You don’t have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see what you create with them.
I have used a couple of Simon Says Stamp products on my card today along with some ink blending.
I wanted to do something slightly different with the Corbel Border die so I used it on a diagonal and die cut it twice.
The ink blending underneath was done using some Hero Arts Dye inks and I used the same pink on the thanks sentiment.
To add a little something more I used my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen to add some bling.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting
There are fabulous Give Aways and inspiration from fabulous designers on a daily basis over on the Simon Says Stamp Blog , if you haven’t subscribed by email you may want to so you don’t miss out.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I cannot wait to see your entries for the challenge.
Hiya lovelies, Happy World Card Making Day !!
I am sure most of you will be crafting today…don’t forget to check out crafting stores as I know last year lots had some great bargains on World Card Making Day.
I wanted to create some quick and easy thank you cards so that I had some on hand all ready to go and the Spring Hello Stamp set from Hero Arts is the perfect set to use.
As you can see it is a great little set, I love the little bird and chip monk and think I will do a wreath style card next with it.
I used the Thank You sentiment and one of the flowers and leaf stamps along with Hero Arts Shadow Inks. The background I created using Simon Says Stamp Background stamp.
If you want to see how I created the cards then check out the video
I hope you enjoyed the video.
One of the reasons I wanted to make Thank you cards was to say a huge thank you to all of you !
Everyone who has susbscribed to my blog, my Youtube Channel, those who like and comment, you are all so brilliant and I LOVE that I have so many amazing crafty friends. So THANK YOU !
Just to show the cards a bit better.
What one do you like best ? I really like the Mint Julep one, but I am a total sucker for Butter Bar so it is a hard choice.
I am really pleased with how these turned out and I think I might make some more and put them in some pretty boxes for holiday gifts, or just send them to some friends.
Thank you guys for stopping by today. I hope you have an amazing day and a great weekend.
Happy Crafting !
