Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – STAMP it

Hey ! I have been sitting on this news for a little while now and can finally tell you all….
I am a guest designer for Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge for the whole of September !!!!
You all know by now I am a huge Simon Says Stamp fan, there was cheering….and maybe a little dancing when I got the email !! And still cannot believe it, September is my birthday month so this has really made it extra special for me.
Anyone onto the challenge !
The theme for the challenge is Stamp it ! (use a stamp) And for those who don’t know (where have you been hiding !!) It is STAMPtember this month with Simon Says Stamp, so a brilliant theme to start the month.
The winner of the challenge will win a $50 voucher to spend at the store !

I created two cards for this challenge.
The first one I created using just the leaves from the beautiful Hydrangea Blooms Stamp set (all supplies are listed and linked below) and the sentiment is from the Autumn Greetings set.

I used a fun technique with ink pads for this card.Check out the video below where I show you both sets, and also how I created the card.

For the second card I used the Hydrangea Blooms set but this time I have used the main flower. In this set they have included the flowers open, like I have used below so you can colour them, or they have also included them solid so you can ink them up.

I have heat embossed the flowers and then water coloured the whole piece using my Mission Gold water colours. I then heat embossed one of the sentiments from the set and die cut the piece out using a Stitched rectangle die. I then adhered it too a matching card base and added some sequins.

Both of the stamp sets I have used are part of the big release for STAMPtember.

You’re One Of A Kind

Morning ! I hope you are all ready for the weekend ? I have a full weekend of crafting planned and i might even sneak in some movie time.
I wanted to share a card with you today that I created using the Simon Says Stamp May kit (link is below)
This was a totally unplanned card and i just knew i wanted to do some quick and easy watercolouring with my Mission Gold watercolours, and I wanted to use the stamp set from the kit and this is what I came up with.
I really wanted to use the one of a kind sentiment so decided to do some muted flowers along with a bolder multi coloured rainbow flower….The rainbow idea came from the fab Pretty Pink Posh team who are currently running a rainbow challenge..I have a ton more rainbow ideas planned, you have been warned lol and they want you too pick one of the images below for inspiration.
Now I got mine from Vera because i thought rainbow clouds are so pretty, but sadly we dont get them, a rainbow flower would be so pretty, but again we don’t get them…doesn’t mean we can craft lots of rainbow clouds and flowers though 🙂
Pretty Pink Posh: Rainbow Challenge
I have used some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins….I know I have a sequin addiction but hey what can i say I like pretty things !
The backing paper just kind of fell into place with this card and was not the original piece I picked, but went so much better.
I have also added some Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle to the rainbow flower but you cannot really see it.
So All in all a really fun card that I enjoyed creating, so thank you to Paulina and team for the inspiration, you guys rock !
Make sure you head on over to the Pretty Pink Posh Blog to check out the challenge.
I hope you have an amazing day. Thank you for stopping by, and happy crafting

Hot Stuff Clearly Besotted

Hiya lovelies, I hope you are all well 🙂
The card I am sharing today was meant to have a video with it, but when i went to edit it there was some sort of strange light thing going on, so no video today !
I have used the Hot stuff Stamp set from Clearly Besotted (all links are below) for this card.
I was VERY lucky to get an awesome gift from hubby last week. A gorgeous set of Mission Gold Water colours, people who know me well know how much I love water colours ( I used to water colour before i got into paper crafting) and the Mission Gold have been at the top of my want list for a long time, but at £200 a set I just couldn’t justify buying them, but Amazon has recently dropped the price on them and hubster grabbed them for me….I was like a kid at Christmas when they arrived.
I have said I will do a short review on them when I get chance, but I did use them for the first time to create the background of this card and have to admit I really am loving them so far.
I have linked below, I know they are still on offer at the moment, but obviously I am not sure when that will change.
I have coloured this little cutie using my Spectrum Noir Markers and added some of the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle to his little horns. I added some dot detail to give some texture and couldn’t resist adding some white gel pen dots to his cheeks.
I fussy cut him out and adhered him to the water colour background using 3D foam Tape.
The sentiment is from another stamp set, I wanted a simple sentiment and as he looks like he is waving i thought this one was perfect. I white heat embossed it onto some Matt black card stock. I then used So to Speak dies from Clearly Besotted and run that through my Die Cutting machine.
To give some dimension, and to keep the water colour panel flat I adhered it too some fun foam.
I used a sheet of paper from Lawn Fawn’s Let’s Polka In The Meadow and die cut using Stitched Rectangle die to match the water colour piece. I then created a card base the same size..It is slightly larger than A2 and adhered everything onto the base.
Me being me I couldn’t resist adding some sequins to finish the card off.
I am thinking of making several more of these but in different colours and all saying something different.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you liked the card.
As always a full product list along with direct links is below.
Have a great day & happy crafting
